UNIQLO x Moomin Tunics

Every week I like to browse what Uniqlo has on offer and it seems they’ve been teaming up with Moomin quite a bit these days, which makes us very happy! A lot of the graphic print tees are sadly not available for women (only kids) but they’ve recently come out with some incredibly cute tunics that I’ve been meaning to share with you. They seem to be available in the UK and US, as well as many other countries.

Moomin Tunics UniqloThese four beautiful tunics are designed by Masaru Suzuki, who has run the Ottaipnu fabric brand since 2005 and has produced designs for Lapuan Kankurit since 2009 and Marimekko since 2010. In 2012, he worked on “Moomin Tribute Works,” a collaboration involving the Moomin comic strip characters. I loved all of the designs but decided only to get three (all but pink) — the navy pattern being my absolute favourite. All of which of course arrived in timely fashion for my birthday last Thursday, making it a very Moominful birthday indeed!

Moomin Navy TunicThese tunics are made of 100% cotton and are insanely soft and comfortable.  I recommend sizing down as they do run a bit large and although they may shrink a tiny bit after washing, they still leave plenty of room!

Moomin Beige TunicThey’re perfect as a summer dress or can be worn over jeans or leggings. I’m 5’4″ and the small falls just above my knees.

Moomin Gray TunicNow hurry and go get yours before they run out of stock! Happy Moomin Monday!
